Phraseological Word Formation in the Modern Russian Language

Abstrak

The article explores the nature of the formation of words on the basis of phraseological units. Phraseological lexemes are considered in relation to their generating phraseological units: the component composition of the compared units is compared, the part-of-speech characteristic and semantic properties of derivative lexemes are analyzed; functions of neoplasms are revealed.
