This article explores the pedagogical potential of integrating poetry in English Language Teaching. A systematic review methodology is used to examine the existing literature on the topic, which examines the effects of poetry integration on language acquisition, cultural appreciation, emotional engagement, cognitive benefits, and the overall language learning experience.
