The article delves into the specific examples of Dreiser's language use, including his tendency towards verbal and syntactic errors, repetition, and unusual sentence structure. Ultimately, the article argues that Dreiser's style, while not conventionally polished, is an intentional reflection of his naturalistic approach to literature, and serves to accurately portray the reality of his characters and their experiences.
