This article discusses the relationship between mother tongue and reading literacy in the 2nd grade with natural sciences. The integration of the tasks given in the textbook of mother tongue and reading literacy with natural sciences is expressed on the formation of students' oral and written speech, and the impact on the development of independent thinking
