Abstrak

In this article, the information about the history of Samarkand obtained as a result of the embassy trip of Rui Gonzalez de Clavijo to the land of Amir Temur is researched. The article presents historical facts about the socio-economic life of Samarkand, the ethnic composition of the population, the markets and the types of products in it, as well as the works of Amir Temur on the improvement of Samarkand.
