Abstrak

This study explores and analyzes the influence of scapegoat on the level of organizational involvement of employees in tertiary sector companies in Cameroon. We started from the observation that most employees have a low level of organizational involvement, which is very often characterized, by levels of abstraction in the company, lack of commitment, and non-identification with values. /corporate culture. Faced with the quest for authority, advancement and often securing their jobs, certain employees and hierarchical superiors use scapegoat to destabilize the behavior of a competitor or any target. Empirically, 143 employees of interurban transport companies operating between the Littoral and West Cameroon participated in the study. It appears that employees who are victims of deliberate or unconscious scapegoat in their company develop low organizational involvement. In particular, a low affective involvement towards the company, an average calculated involvement and a low normative involvement.
