Organizational Factors Shaping Sustainability and Energy Security in Uzbekistan

Abstrak

This study investigates the determinants of sustainability and energy security practices within energy enterprises in Uzbekistan. The energy sector reforms in Uzbekistan exist but scholars have paid scarce attention to what organizational factors inside companies contribute to sustainability decisions. The authors performed a multinomial logistic regression model analysis based on survey and qualitative data to fill this data gap. The researchers processed synthetic data from 100 participants who worked in various energy organizations. The evaluation investigated primary energy sources alongside sustainability assessment frequencies as well as framework existence along with monitoring techniques and organizational view on strategic sustainability importance. The research demonstrated enterprises that choose renewable power while performing routine assessments and establishing specific frameworks paired with automated observation and strategic planning with built-in sustainability goals prioritize sustainability most prominently. The results suggest that mandates for renewable energy integration with sustainability assessments together with structured frameworks and automated monitoring and promotions for renewable adoption will boost sustainable outcomes. All organizational plans need to include sustainability goals as a permanent component to maintain consistent dedication to these principles. The research evidence indicates Uzbekistan requires policy measures to support such practices so it can improve both energy security and sustainable development objectives. Studies analyzing extended effects and sustainability barriers of these methods through time-series research methods are required for the energy sector.
