Abstrak

The article presents a comparative analysis of the morphometric parameters of the kidney in normal and chronic alcoholism. The author revealed a lag in the microstructures of the kidneys under the toxic effects of ethyl alcohol.As a result of the damaging effect of ethanol on the tubular epithelium of the kidney, its compensatory regenerative ability increases, which is a tissue response to the toxic effects of ethanol and its metabolites.
